    2. I have to be honest here--I was soooo disappointed with the hero in this book, celebrity chef Luc Traverson, and to a lesser extent, stripper/restaurateur Alyssa Devereaux . Luc first appeared in the previous book (Decadent) where he was part of a menage relationship with his cousin Deke and Deke's eventual wife, Kimber. Although I don't remember everything about that book, I do remember liking Luc, and was looking forward to his book. But this book was like a roller coaster ride that peaked ear [...]

    3. 4 stars – Romantic Suspense/EroticaWicked Ties is one of my all-time favorite erotic reads, and I loved Decadent as well, so I was really looking forward to Luc’s story in Delicious. Unfortunately, it didn’t live up to my expectations, mostly because both Luc and Alyssa (and some side characters too) made me so violently furious at times that I wanted to get my head smack on or throw the book across the room. A couple of alternate titles for this could be: “A Chef, a Stripper, and a Baby [...]

    4. I Really liked this book, it was a sensual, sexy thriller that kept my interested all the way through. Luc and Alyssa had one night of HOT Steamy Sex a while back and since then either one of them could stop thinking about the other. For Luc it was a scary thing because he was not looking to fall in love with a strip dancer/ strip club owner. Luc is looking for a woman to marry. He desperately wants a child the only thing is, as a child himself he had a fever that made his sperm very low count t [...]

    5. Delicious was such a treat to read! I’m not usually into the whole baby mama drama, but I think this series is an exception because I’ve come to love all the characters in their own special way.Alyssa is by far my favourite heroine in this entire series! I loved the fact that she understood her feelings for Luc from the very beginning and knew exactly what she wanted to do. She had ambitions, brains and an inner strength that I really admired. Her past is a haunting one but she still is able [...]

    6. In the second book in the series - Decadent - Alyssa (platinum blonde bombshell owner of a strip club) and Luc (celebrity chef) enjoyed a detailed sexual interlude. It was obvious that there was something between the two. This is their storyLICIOUS starts 3 months after their one night stand. Luc never called her back after that night. Alyssa hopes that they can hook up again and maybe start something for real. Unfortunately, Luc is looking to marry and has been dating a school teacher. There is [...]

    7. 2.5 StarsSOOOI found this book on my iPad and was a little surprised that I hadn't read it yet since I really love this whole series (for the most part) I figured what the heck, I'd give it goya, now I know why I skipped this one over!Luc was an asshole, a horrible judgmental nonredeemable (in my eyes) asshole. What happened to the Luc of the previous book??? This guy in noway resembled that Luc. This one said horrible things to Alyssa, this one thought she was a whore through like 90% of the bo [...]

    8. Holy hell. If I thought I'd read Erotica before this, I was sadly mistaken. Delicious tells the continuing story of Luc Traverson, a famous chef, and Alyssa Devereaux, a stripper turned business owner. In the previous book, starring Luc's cousin Deke and his now-wife Kimber, Luc makes a deal with Alyssa: take part in a ménage with him and Deke in exchange for any culinary favor she might require. Taking advantage of the deal, Alyssa partakes of six hours of fantastic sex with Luc upon Deke's de [...]

    9. I really liked this book and would have rated it 4 stars but I really thought Luc was a prick for most of the book. I just wanted to reach into the book and smack him upside the head!!In the previous book Luc and Alyssa sent a scorching hot night together after which he promptly left, sending her flowers the next day. Part of the deal with them spending the night together had Luc coming back for a week to guest chef in the new restaurant Alyssa was set to open. Alyssa is wanting to take her life [...]

    10. I had such high hopes for this book with the way Luke and Alyssa were set up in Wicked Lovers #2. But frankly, I just didn't like Luke after awhile. I knew going into the book that he didn't think very highly of Alyssa regardless of the mutual attraction, but I was really hoping that he wouldn't be so caught up in that until the bitter end.My feelings on this book (other than my distinct disdain for the leading man) are quite similar to the other books in the Wicked Lovers series. I think there [...]

    11. Random thoughts:Again, Shayla Black has her characters making mountains out of mole hills. Luc's huge secret/hidden shame is that he is supposedly unable to father a child. And in his eyes this makes him less of a man. Luc's baby obsession and focus on a "suitable" wife and the white picket fence seemed a litte overdone/ridiculous.I can't remember the last time I loathed a charatcer more than Tyler. What a jackass! The liberties he took with Alyssa, his employer, were jaw dropping. And the fact [...]

    12. I put off reading this after I was a little disappointed with "Decadent", and I didn't care much for Luc and Alyssa. I didn't have any expectations about this, and seeing as I put it on my favorites list is a big surprise, and obviously it's my favorite in this series so far, I have yet to read "Surrender To Me".This really tore my heart out. It was emotional; tension, anxiety, and a heavy feeling coiled in my gut every time Luc let his jealous dick do the talking, instead of listening to Alyssa [...]

    13. It didn't take me long to finish this book; and this time, it wasn't because I skipped the sex scenes. Heh. This book was hot! As in, Ghost chilli hot in the Scoble scale. Even so, I was still not as enamoured as I expected to be with this series but I'm going to plow through; because no matter how many times I quibble and complain about these books, I can't deny that I'm addicted. I've said this before; Ms. Black can burn off the pages with her steamy erotica and wouldn't you know it? I can't l [...]

    14. What can I say? Luc is an **** and Alyssa who I did not like in the first book, she seem to be to hard for Luc who wanted a baby so badly.Well the way Luc acted in this book all I can say is RUN Alyssa in the other direction, away from Luc, because what a momma boy with issues, Luc to have sex with some one you think is a slut speaks of your own issues with the females period. To have a girlfriend (ring intended) back home and sleep with some one you think is a slut, yeah nice Hero we have here, [...]

    15. OK, I love the books in the Wicked Lovers series, all the people are a little broken and the stories help heal them, that being said, I was really frustrated by what a jerk Luc was in this book, I really liked him in Decadent and I like Alyssa so I had some trouble watching him be so callous, but like any good HEA it ended wonderfully. All in all I would have given it 4 1/2 stars if I could have. I really enjoyed it but for the frustration Luc brought me.

    16. Wow, this book was incredibly bad. Pretty much every premise in this book is unbelievable, both romantically and just in life in generalFor example, on page 33, Luc essentially calls Alyssa a whore but she's still conspiring to get him to sleep with her?!Ugh. I couldn't stand this book.If I could give this book negative stars, I would.

    17. This is going to be a rant. Synopsis have already been done etcAlyssa the heroine is a kickass h. She's an ex-stripper with quite a past that she has worked to put behind her and improve her life as well as give other women the opportunity to change as well. She's not perfect, but she's a admirable. The H, Luc, is a pretty boy chef with a mighty and magic p, and is without a doubt one of the dumbest heroes EVER. If there is a wrong decision to make, a conclusion to jump to, Luc's there jumping in [...]

    18. Chocolate Mousse and Champagne for everybody! lol Ok so Delicious is the 3rd book in the Wicked Lovers series. In this one we have celebrity chef hottie Luc (Deke's cousin) and Alyssa (Strip Club owner and friend of Jack) who after their hot sexy night together in Deke's book Decadent find their way back to each other as Luc is honoring a pact he made with Alyssa about helping her out at her new restaurant business for a week. The sexual tension and the feelings ignite almost immediately. Luc is [...]

    19. OMG could two characters jump to the wrong conclusions a little bit more?? I was pulling my hair out with this one. They didnt communicate about the most basic to the most cosmic things! I gave the book five stars becuase it still dragged me in hook, line and sinker. Luc was so adorable in the last book that I couldnt wait to read his own book. I was glad that this book wasnt so into bongage or menage' as the first two and there was no anal. It was more about his trying to manage his feeling for [...]

    20. WOW, I really enjoyed this book. I wanted Luc to have his HEA so bad since it didn't work out for him in the previous book. He had issues which thank God he was able to overcome. He is one intense, stubborn, sexy man. I went from wanting to strangle him one minute to thinking how lucky Alyssa was to have a man like him desire her that much the next. Alyssa is a very likeable character. She is misunderstood but strong. She was a great person to get to know. I loved how Luc helped her with the res [...]

    21. This was a 4.5 star read for me. Let me warn you though if you are hoping that Luc will be the sweetie that he was in book two, you will be disappointed. With that said, I really did end up liking him a lot. He does something toward the end of the book that is so amazingly unselfish, when he has been a selfish judgmental asshat though out the rest of the book that he manages to redeem himself.I really like Alyssa a lot. Her strength and tenacity to not fit the stereotypical stripper role were co [...]

    22. Never has a book made me feel more stabby than this one. Alyssa and Luc were so lacking of basic communication skills, it was ridiculous. The only thing more ridiculous was their constant inaccurate internal musings about the others' thoughts and motivations. It was irritating and frustrating and made me not like either of them very much.

    23. 4 Stars!I wasn't supposed to enjoy this book this much!Actually I must admit that for the beginning I slighty underestimated this book (my bad! huh!), but thank God I kept going to read this book, aaand I really liked it! :D

    24. If your one that likes a love, hate, on again off again relationship, with suspense this could be for you. To tell you the truth, I don’t normally get into these love hate relationship, but this one I couldn’t put it down. The thing that kept me going was it was so full of emotions. At times I couldn’t stand either one Luc or Alyssa then at times I really liked them. This is how it would go, as soon as they were able to stand each other and everything looking good then Luc with his jealous [...]

    25. Shayla Black is one twisted sisterher books never disappoint. They are laden with sex and intrigue this series, there is always a damsel in distress with a crazy stalker and a knight in shining armour ready to save the day. Why "twisted" you say? First off, there is always an element of something taboo. In this book, the taboo aspect doesn't play as much into the storyline as it has in the past books, but it has to do with the secret that is holding Alyssa back emotionally. Let us revisit our pa [...]

    26. If you can’t stand the heat then get out of the kitchenLuc Traverson know what he wants and knows hot to get it. He has everything planned out. He’s an accomplished chef, with cookbooks and his own TV show coming out. He knows that he wants to get married and that he wants to have children. He wants a wife who could be a mom like his mom was. Now he has to go to Louisiana to fill a promise he made three months ago. Should be easy, go there and stay a week and cook for a restaurant. The probl [...]

    27. Well let me think how to review this book. There were parts that I absolutely LOVED and of course their was my Luc, super yummy chef. But, there were also a few scenes that I thought were out of line ad a couple that really pissed me off. Luc Traverson goes to Louisiana to see through on his side of the deal he made with Alyssa Deveraux from when she agreed to do a menage with Luce & his cousin Deke when Luc was trying to get his cousin Deke to realize how much he loved Kimber. Luc agreed to [...]

    28. So I was looking forward to Delicious. It didn't take me long to realize this was probably not the most appropriate book to be reading at the gym?!? Good thing I had my book cover on it.Yikes!Hot shot chef Luc Traverson broke the golden rule all readers know: Never judge a book by its cover. In this case that book is Alyssa Devereaux, former exotic dancer turned strip club/restaurant owner.I did not like Luc at the start of this book. I found him to be a judgemental, hypocritical walking hard-on [...]

    29. DeliciousLucas Luc Traverson and Lindsey Alyssa Devereaux5/5 StarsDelicious is the third book of Wicked Lovers series by Shayla Black. I am so excited to read this book because it is about Luc Traverson, the third wheel of the previous book Decadent. We've seen a lot of Luc, a hot celebrity chef and a little bit of Alyssa Devereaux from Wicked Ties and also Decadent, a strip club owner. It was a hot combination, I like Luc, especially when he cooks delicious foods. Alyssa is super lucky, I also [...]
