    1. Cathy A WilsonCatherine A Wilson My grandmother was a wonderful story teller and I count myself fortunate to have been able to spend time with her and my great uncles and aunts, who loved nothing than a good pot of tea with added lashings of gossip It is their legacy that fuelled my genealogical addiction as I strove to identify fact from fiction and then record the information for posterity From this sprouted my love of history, the urge to research and write and, eventually, to develop my own stories. At the suggestion of Anna Jacobs, another highly successful and talented Australian novelist, I joined Romance Writers Australia One keystroke error placed me on a chat loop where I met my namesake, Cathy T After making a crass remark concerning my rather plain name, our friendship was born We began to regularly email one another, offering words of encouragement the publishing world is a tough place for the uninitiated believe me, when Cathy T came upon the idea to create a novel along the lines of our real time friendship Hence, Lions and Lilies was born Catherine was born in London, England, but has lived in Australia for the last thirty nine years, growing up in and around the leafy suburbs of Eastwood, Epping and Dundas Without a particular path in mind she simply took the first job she was offered, which happened to be the position of Layout Artist for a well known map publisher, but changed course and selected a career in nursing She later enlisted in the Royal Australian Air Force, before resigning to a quiet life at home. She lives in the Blue Mountains, west of Sydney, with her husband and two beautiful children, several Jack Russells, a large flock of flighty chickens, goldfish and budgies When not writing which is not often she likes to garden, read books, shop, read books, drink copious cups of strong coffee with friends and read plenty of books.

    2. I was really (really) looking forward to the release of this book and I was NOT dissapointed. The Gilded Crown continues the story of Cecile and Gillet, Simon and Catherine and several other key characters. Following on directly from Book 2 we see Catherine and Simon travel to Scotalnd and face new and challenging problems, whilst Cecile and Gillet remain in France and deal with even more deadly foes. This book truley encapulates all that I enjoy about Lions and Lilies - strong, yet individual fe [...]

    3. I have to wait another year?!Argh!I need more noooooow :pThis is such a great series. I can't say that enough. It's so well written, so full of adventure and love and heartbreak and more adventure. Being the third book of the series I can't say much without spoiling things, but here goes.So the person does the thing, which causes this other thing to happen, and it creates this huge feeling. The other people are doing other things, and then they come together with the other people and do heroic t [...]

    4. Thrilling, Heart Stopping Romance At Its BestBook 3 and my only dissapointment? I wanted to read on and Book 4 is yet to be published.'Where is my time machine? I need to travel back to 1361 and ride along beside Gillet and Cecile, Simon and Catherine (and just secretly, spend some time with Armand).'Loved it from page one. The follow on from Books 1 and 2 is seemless, with many of the underlying arcs coming togther in a way that was really interesting and satisfying. One of the things I really [...]

    5. BRILLIANT I loved every page. So, like I wanted to read Book 3 so bad but had to wait for my copy (it was a birthday gift) but I nearly killed someone (namely my sister) as she pinched it and read it first!OMG this series is sooooooooooooooo good. I hope it doesn't end anytime soon!Book 3 is a direct follow on from The Order of the Lily (Book 2) and HN1 and HN2 (sisters) are as interesting and 'real' as ever - not your normal swooning types, they actually have opinions and husbands that listen t [...]
