    2. I totally enjoyed the random plots of this books. Without spoilers: Clarissa and Becca's situation was a tear-jerk. Rosie and Stanley another tear-jerk. Just loved this book. With an ending like this, I just can't wait for the next book. Terri keep writing and you can bet I'll keep reading.

    3. OH MY GOD!!!!! I thought I was nervous throughout the book but the ending knocked the wind out of me! For those who haven't read any of the Mary O'Reilly books, start now! For those who have, buckle your seat belts, this one is AMAZING!!!

    4. Really enjoying this series. This book was a little bland compared to the other's in the series. Not as much mystery/ghost.

    5. I was disappointed in this book. The stories was so convoluted that it disrupted the flow of the story. What was the focal point: Stanley and Rosie's marriage? Gary Copper's trial? Clarissa's ordeal? Or Rosie and Stanley's ghosts?? The author tried to jam too much into the two hundred and some odd pages, the story of Copper's trial and finding Clarissa should have been two separate stories not jammed into one story. I saw no point in having Rosie's dead father try to scare her saw no point in St [...]

    6. I loved this book, I read it in one day. This is book 8 of the series, the story flowed and the ending was a surprise. I have enjoyed this whole series and one reason is that I am able to share these books with my elderly mother and my daughter. They all have a great story, keeps you on your toes, and a good clean read.Ms. Reid needs to get book #9 out because I can't wait.

    7. Another great book by Terri Reid! Big cliff-hanger though, hope it's not too long before the next one comes out!!!

    8. Fantastic as ever. Could not resist finishing it although Im dreading il have to wait long for the next one ;) thank u Terri for a wonderful book

    9. SmilingA nice romantic story. Two of my favorite characters got married. A wonderful twist at the end when my favorite character showed up.On to the next adventure.

    10. I LOVE this series. In all honesty, I have suffered for years from clinical depression, and was suffering from a very serious downturn. This series helped get me through. The friendship, the camaraderie, the family, the love and laughter, helped tremendously. It was extremely helpful in getting me to that turning point back to me.I laughed till my belly hurt, then cried until I couldn't see the words. I felt anger and betrayal for those whose journey was suspended. I found redemption, grace, and [...]

    11. Broken PromisesWow!! So much is going on in this book, both good and bad. Yet at the same time Reid brings together all the elements in the story without dropping a single ball. The story is seamless and amazing. I love these wonderful characters. I'm not going to lie though, I totally did a happy dance at a certain moment at the end. I highly recommend this series

    12. Great series of Books I am totally addicted to this series of books, the characters are intriguing and funny too. I also like the fact this book is about paranormal abilities but has faith in God also. Great read, I highly recommend reading this series of books.

    13. I really like how these books follow day to day. One book ends and the other picks up immediately. Glad to have Rosie and Stanley married finally. Hopefully Clarissa will be ok. I hope that truly is Mike the fireman with her.

    14. All the character dynamics are really fun to read about. I wasn't sure how I'd feel about the new addition of Mary and Bradleys family- but so far I'm enjoying how Terri is introducing it. Terri delivers great classic cozy mystery series.

    15. This series continues with the search for a police officer's little girl. He has a little help from of all things, ghosts. The characters in this paranormal series are fun to follow.

    16. As always, I have another good review for Ms. Reid's series. I read this book as quickly as humanly possible and am looking forward to the next installment. I enjoyed reading about Clarissa and was sad to hear of her tale. The gypsy component was a littleodd and out there. If there's anything I would change about the series, it's the interactions between Mary and Bradley. They're a cute couple. I get it. They haven't progressed physically so they're like a bunch of dorky teenagers waiting for th [...]

    17. Well. Okay. I got my crying Quota. SpoilersI am so done with Gary Cooper. And he's back. Looks like he willbe in the next book too. There's a lot of mash of different stories that didn't really go together. The story with Rosie and her dad did not make any sense to me . Why now? Rosie and Stanley are both haunted but they are not tied together . Then we have the trial of Gary Cooper. The trial is based where we had a couple books with Gary and Jeanine. Why do you have to rehash the same drama . [...]

    18. Good ghosts and a bad ghostMary O'Reilly, Chief Bradley Alden, and Ian are in Chicago testifying against Gary Copper the man responsible for Alden's wife, Jeannine, and drugging and kidnapping Mary. Meanwhile, Rosie and Stanley get their first sightings of ghosts on their own. Stanley's is nice but Rosie's ghost definitely is not.We learn a little more about Chief Alden's daughter, Clarissa. Her adoptive father was killed by Gary Copper as well. This series keeps getting better. The dialogue is s [...]

    19. It gets a 4 because I truly love this quick read, paranormal mystery series but it's closer to a 3-3.5 for he storyline of this installment. This one felt mostly like a plot set up for the next book. Usually there is the ongoing storyline as well as a significant current story. For this book the current story(ies) (around Stanley & Rosie) were minor so it felt a bit like a quick tease. Still, it does leave a very good and moving cliffhanger at the end and if you like this series you will rea [...]

    20. This is number 8 in the series, and I hate to say this, but I didn’t enjoy it as much as the others that I’ve read. There was just too much going on. Rosie and Stanley are getting married…Mary is once again trying to help a ghost, the trial for Gary Copper is underway…all while hunting for Bradley’s daughter. The ghost that Rosie is forced to deal with, makes no sense…at least the timing of it doesn’t. Stanley’s ghost kind of made sense, in a very small way…but it was still con [...]

    21. Really enjoy all of the Mary O'Reilly books. All the characters (alive and dead) are nicely "fleshed out". Except this one. It seemed a little lean on characterization compared to the others. If you had not read any of the others, you would have no clue who Rose and Stanley are, and they are basically the main characters of this 8th book. I hate the cliffhanger ending of this one, because now I have to wait until the next book. Didn't mind the others because I only discovered the series right be [...]

    22. That ending!!Oh my gosh! I have writing of my own I need to do, but all I want to do is read, read, read this series! Especially with that ending! How can I just stop there?! I have to know if that's really you-know-who who has come to the rescue! I loved that Stanley and Rosie finally got their own story lines in this book. I've been aching to learn more about their lives pre-Mary. I am going to be so very sad when I finish this series. I have come to adore these characters. I hope Reid will co [...]

    23. Amazing!!!This is number eight in the series. If you would think the series to be boring and tired at this point, you would be wrong, very wrong. I believe this to be among my favorites in the series so far. This is a wonderful reading whether reading the entire series or just reading a single book. Enjoy!!!This author does a wonderful job of keeping characters true to form, with personalities the reader can eventually predict without taking away from the mystery and suspense. Lots of surprises [...]

    24. Broken Promises by Terri ReidBook 8 doesn't disappoint along with the previous series. Mary O'Reilly and Chief Alden find themselves in court hoping to put away Gary Copper the man responsible for the murder of Jeannine Alden's death along with his own wife and child. Will they succeed in putting this dangerous man away? Stay tuned and you will find out.

    25. This is one of my favorite series. Mary O'Reilly is getting ready for her wedding to her beloved Bradley. They are working on finding his daughter and putting away the man who killed Bradley's first wife. In this installment their friends Rose and Stanley are getting married but are being haunted by ghosts from their past. They have a lot to deal with but Mary takes charge and lays the ghosts. This serie's characters are so well written. I love Stanley and Rose and am so happy they are finally g [...]

    26. I was concerned through this book wondering what the author was going to do with Clarissa. There is finally some hope for Bradley to find his daughter but would it happen, would he be too late? I read like crazy to find out. No spoiler here endingon to book 9. Love this series and all the crazy characters, so glad there are so many books in this series. Thank you Terri Reid, keep them coming.
